Shan-E-Punjab is the academy for South Asian performance and dance in BC. Its students have performed at over 100 different competitions across North America, and been part of auspicious events such as the 2013 Times of India Film Awards.

As part of PLC’s focus on the local community, it partnered with Shan-E-Punjab to provide two linked programs: the World Music History program at PLC and the Community Arts practical performance learning program at Shan-E-Punjab. These programs allow anyone above the age of 12 to learn and experience South Asian dances such as bhangra, giddha, dhol, and more.
