Course Overview
This course focuses on a customer-oriented and practical approach for effectively marketing hotels and restaurants (services marketing) and the areas within the hospitality industry where sales are featured, from discussing sales opportunities and promoting in-house sales with guests. The other focus for this course prepares students to work in food services, a large sector in the hospitality industry, especially in hotel and restaurant sales, include the basics of being a server, food safety and dealing with customers.
Upon completion of this course, participants will have the ability to develop and implement sales and marketing plans tailored to the unique needs of hospitality businesses.
